Equipment buying guide
A new trash bin cleaning trailer is a major equipment purchase. At The Bin Trailer, the standard Single Cold starts at $29,999 and the standard Double Hot starts at $45,999, before additional fees and options.
To compare quotes fairly, look at the complete configuration and the total delivered cost. This guide explains our model pricing, the equipment choices that affect your budget, and the questions to ask before ordering.
How Much Do The Bin Trailer Models Cost?
The following are our advertised base equipment prices—not an industry-wide price range. Use the current model catalog to compare configurations and confirm your final price in a written quote.
| Model | Base price |
|---|---|
| Single Cold | $29,999 |
| Double Hot | $45,999 |
| Single Cold California Edition | $34,999 |
| Double Hot California Edition | $54,999 |
Shipping, applicable taxes, documentation fees and optional upgrades are additional. Prices and configurations may change; your written quote should identify the equipment and total purchase price.
What Affects the Price of a Bin Cleaning Trailer?
Cold-Water or Hot-Water Equipment
The standard Single Cold uses cold water. The standard Double Hot offers hot- and cold-water operation. Heating equipment adds components to purchase and maintain. For California editions, confirm the exact engine, pump and heating configuration in your quote.
Trailer Platform, Tanks and Towing Requirements
Compare the trailer platform, tank capacities and loaded weight together. A larger tank is useful only if the complete setup suits your route and tow vehicle. Ask the manufacturer to distinguish tank capacity from the water load permitted during transport.
Lifting System and Included Components
Different lifting systems have different purchase and maintenance requirements. Our trailers use a manual Smart Lift; it should not be described as an automated hydraulic lift. Review the pump, engine, cleaning head, hoses and included accessories rather than comparing headline prices alone.
Support and Warranty Terms
Ask what operating instructions, replacement parts and support are available after delivery. Compare written component coverage, exclusions and the process for making a claim. Review our warranty and support information before ordering.
What Should You Budget Beyond the Trailer Price?
Build two separate budgets: one for acquiring the equipment and another for running your business. Keeping these separate makes it easier to compare quotes without overlooking working capital.
Equipment purchase: Base trailer price, selected upgrades, documentation fees, applicable taxes, and shipping or pickup expenses.
Business operations: Tow vehicle expenses, insurance, fuel, water, wastewater disposal, maintenance, marketing, scheduling tools and labor.
Ask which items are included and which are quoted separately. A lower advertised price may simply cover a different configuration.
How Should You Compare Value?
Use the same requirements for every quote: cleaning system, tank capacity, loaded weight, included equipment, warranty coverage, delivery arrangements and total cost. A less expensive setup is not automatically unreliable, and a higher price does not guarantee a better fit.
For a new route, prioritize equipment you can operate, tow and maintain within your budget. For an established business, identify the specific limitation an upgrade would address before paying for additional capacity or features.
Will the Trailer Pay for Itself?
There is no fixed payback period that applies to every bin cleaning business. Results depend on customer demand, service pricing, route density, operating costs, downtime and the owner’s labor.
Revenue is not profit. Before estimating equipment payback, account for the costs of delivering the service and allow for a slower-than-expected customer launch. Treat projections as planning scenarios, not promised results.

Can You Finance a Bin Cleaning Trailer?
You can explore equipment financing options. Financing is subject to lender approval and terms. Review the approved payment schedule and total financing cost alongside your operating budget; monthly payments alone do not describe the full cost of ownership.
